DEFINITION/FUNCTION FOR BOTH NUCLEUS AND NUCLEOLUS:
The nucleus is a large oval inside the cell. It is the most obvious organelle in any eukaryotic cell. it is enclosed in a double membrane and communicated witht he surrounding cytosol via numerous nuclear pores. regulates cells activity.
The nucleolus is a spiracle shape. It produces ribosomes, which moves out of the nucleus and take positions on the rough endoplasm reticulum where they are critical in protein synthesis.
FOUND IN PLANT, ANIMAL, OR BOTH?:
The nucleus and nucleolus are both found in plant and animal cells.
